The WFT 2 Trimmer from LITTLE CROW GUNWORKS is designed for the serious reloader looking for efficiency and accuracy. This innovative tool offers significant enhancements over its predecessor, making it an essential addition to your gunsmithing toolkit.

One of the most requested features by our customers is the ability to interchange trim chambers. The WFT 2 incorporates a slight slip fit in the bearing with a groove cut for an O-ring, ensuring a secure press fit. Changing trim chambers is straightforward; simply remove the cutter and use the provided knock-out dowel to push out the chamber. Installation is just as easy—set the trim chamber on a flat surface and push the housing onto it.

Adjusting the cutter depth is a breeze. Place a “master case” in the trim chamber, slide the cutter up to the case mouth, and tighten the set screws for precise trimming. The WFT 2 is designed to trim by specific cartridge while still accommodating case families; just order the largest chamber for the family you intend to trim.

Please note that this unit and its inserts do not chamfer or deburr the case mouth of the cartridge case during trimming. If you can't find the cartridge you need, feel free to reach out to our Special Order Department at 800-741-0015.

Brownells USA It’s a work in progress 25/08/2018

This was difficult for me to get the adjustment right. I used the master case against the cutter and locked the set screws. Installed the trimmer in Dewalt drill and the cases came out .006 short the first time. I readjusted and now it’s + or - .002. Maybe I’m too much a perfectionist. It is fast. The cutter has chips in the edges and some case chatter a bit till cut no matter how easy I insert the trimmer. I’ll order another cutter when they’re in stock. Overall I believe most of my challenges are due to “operator error!” Hence the 5 star rating.

Brownells USA Not the best choice 23/02/2017

I have to give credit to Little Crow Gunworks. They offered to take back my trimmer and fix it after I buggered it up. Using the dowlel to remove the insert caused the entire bottom bearing to pop out. Needed to hear the housing with a torch to get that back in. But I kept it, knowing I will never change out the trim chamber to trim another caliber.

Problems: The WFT required a half inch chuck. THat means your normal power drill will not work. That's just poor design thinking. Second, it is tough to clean. Third, as noted, it does not chamfer, so you get to double-work your brass. Last, it is not easy to adjust the cut height. Bottom line: there are better options.
