The new Precision Resizing Dies by Short Action Customs represent years of expertise in shooting and reloading precision rifle cartridges. Designed with innovation and excellence in mind, these dies ensure optimal sizing for your cartridges.

Key Features:

  • Minimal Shoulder Sizing: Each die is engineered to size the cartridge shoulder just enough to prevent overworking the brass while ensuring proper feeding and function.
  • Enhanced Base Sizing: The cartridge base is sized more than standard dies, allowing "fired and tired" brass to be reused without issues like clicking or sticky bolt closure.
  • Precision Geometry: Neck/shoulder radius and neck diameters are carefully derived from the parent cartridge’s body geometry, ensuring that sized brass maintains true geometry.
  • Advanced Materials: New materials provide improved surface finish and core strength compared to 416 Stainless and 12L14.
  • Superior Heat Treatment: Offers a surface hardness of up to 80 Rockwell on the C scale, while enhancing lubricity compared to standard heat treat and Salt Bath Nitriding/Melojnite.
  • Precision Machining: Die bodies are machined in two operations for exceptional accuracy.
  • Compatibility: Uses standard 7/8 x 14 external threads to secure to any standard reloading press and works with SAC's Neck/Shoulder Sizing Bushings.

These dies are versatile, allowing for use with similar cartridges within the same family. For instance, the Creedmoor Die Body can accommodate 22, 6mm, 25, and 6.5mm Creedmoor cartridges, depending on the Neck/Shoulder Bushing purchased. Please note that Neck/Shoulder Bushings must be purchased separately.
