The Precision Resizing Dies from Short Action Customs represent the pinnacle of innovation in the world of precision rifle cartridge reloading. Designed for both enthusiasts and professionals, these dies are the result of extensive experience in shooting and reloading.

Key Features:

  • Minimal Shoulder Sizing: Each die is engineered to size the cartridge shoulder just enough to prevent overworking the brass while ensuring optimal feeding and function.
  • Enhanced Base Sizing: The base of the cartridge is sized more than a standard die, allowing for the use of “fired and tired” brass without issues like clicking or sticky bolt closure.
  • Precision Geometry: Important dimensions such as neck/shoulder radius and neck diameters are meticulously derived from the parent cartridge’s body geometry, ensuring that the sized brass maintains true geometry.
  • Advanced Materials: The new material offers superior surface finish and core strength compared to traditional 416 Stainless and 12L14.
  • Exceptional Hardness: A new heat treat process provides a surface hardness of up to 80 Rockwell on the C scale, while improving lubricity over standard heat treat and Salt Bath Nitriding/Melojnite.
  • Precision Machining: Die bodies are machined in two operations, ensuring an extremely true product.
  • Compatibility: Uses standard 7/8 x 14 external threads for secure attachment to any standard reloading press. These dies are compatible with SAC's Neck/Shoulder Sizing Bushings, allowing for versatility across similar cartridges within the same family.

For example, the Creedmoor Die Body can be utilized for 22, 6mm, 25, and 6.5mm Creedmoor cartridges, depending on the Neck/Shoulder Bushing purchased. Please note that Neck/Shoulder Bushings are sold separately.
