Introducing the FELT POLISHING WHEELS from BACON FELT COMPANY, designed for the discerning gunsmith and enthusiast.

Product Description

Our 6" Hard Felt Polishing Wheel features a 5/8" arbor and is crafted from the finest quality felt, ensuring a superior finish for your firearms and tools. Each wheel is carefully selected and factory trued, although a final touch-up truing may be necessary for optimal results.

The closely controlled density of these felt wheels provides the exceptional finish that distinguishes the true professional. Complete instructions on the Polish-O-Ray™ tube detail the felt wheel technique, allowing you to achieve the best results.

Usage Recommendations

  • For 1/2 hp or under, use 6" wheels at 3600 RPM.
  • For 1/2 hp or over, use 8" wheels at 1800 RPM.
  • For 3/4 hp or over, 10" wheels at 1800 RPM are recommended.
  • 10" wheels are for experienced polishers only.

It is advisable to use a different wheel for each polish grit, with soft felt being ideal for most tasks. For specific applications, medium or hard wheels are suitable for use with 555™ Polish.

Specifications

  • All wheels are 1" (2.5cm) thick.
  • Each wheel features a 1" (2.5cm) arbor.
  • Adapters are available to convert to 1/2" (12.7mm), 5/8" (15.9mm), 3/4" (6.4mm), and 7/8" (22.2mm).
  • One adapter is supplied with each wheel.
