Precision and Performance with RCBS Tungsten Coated Neck Sizing Bushings
RCBS Coated Neck Bushings are designed for reloading enthusiasts who demand the utmost precision in their ammunition. These interchangeable bushings allow you to select the perfect amount of tension on the bullet when using RCBS Gold Medal Match neck sizing dies.
Key Features:
- Tungsten Disulfide (WS2) Coating: Provides an anti-friction surface, eliminating the need for traditional case lube.
- Self-Centering Design: Ensures proper alignment with the case neck for consistent results.
- Compatibility: Specifically designed for use with RCBS Gold Medal neck sizing dies.
- Optimal Sizing: RCBS recommends having neck bushings one to two sizes above and below your target diameter for best results.
For optimal performance, it is advised to use high-end brass with consistent neck thicknesses. The RCBS Coated Neck Bushings play a crucial role in achieving extremely consistent-shooting ammunition when paired with your Gold Medal Match sizing dies.
Brownells Gun Tech™ Tip:
To select the appropriate steel neck bushings:
- Measure the outside neck diameter of your loaded cartridge and subtract .002" to .003". This allows approximately .001" of brass to spring back for correct neck tension.
- Alternatively, measure the neck wall thickness of your case, multiply by two, add the diameter of your bullet, and subtract .002" to .003".
Upgrade your reloading setup with the RCBS Tungsten Coated Neck Sizing Bushings and experience the difference in precision and performance.
