Button rifled for unequalled smoothness with tolerances for groove diameter and straightness held to .0005". .22 through .338 barrels feature 6- grooves while the .358, .375 and .458 barrels have 8. No straightening is done and all barrels are stress relieved.

Introducing the CONTOUR #2, DOUGLAS .270 1-10 TWIST CM #2 CONTOUR ULTRA RIFLED BARREL, a premium choice for your rebarrelling projects. Manufactured by the U.S.'s oldest barrel maker, this match-grade barrel blank is designed for those who demand the best in accuracy and performance.

Product Features:

  • Famous Douglas Double XX premium-grade barrels.
  • Proven accuracy with the finest care in manufacture.
  • Button rifled for unparalleled smoothness.
  • Tolerances for groove diameter and straightness held to .0005".
  • Available in calibers from .22 through .338 featuring 6 grooves; .358, .375, and .458 barrels have 8 grooves.
  • No straightening is done; all barrels are stress relieved.

Specifications:

Constructed from 4140 Chrome moly and stainless steel. The "Finished" dimensions are detailed in the chart. Unturned Blanks will be .025" (.63mm) to .050" (1.3mm) larger in diameter and 1-½" (3.8cm) longer than indicated. Please note that these barrels are not threaded or chambered.
