The Forster Universal Sight Mounting Fixture is the ultimate solution for gunsmiths seeking precision and reliability in mounting scopes and sights. This fixture meets the exacting standards of even the most particular gunsmiths.

Product Features:

  • Handles virtually all bolt action, lever action, and pump guns, including popular models like the Savage 99 and Remington 760.
  • Designed for drilling and tapping holes for scope mounts, receiver sights, shotgun beads, and more.
  • Eliminates "run out" of the drill with a hardened and ground drill bushing for superior accuracy.
  • Includes a sliding over-arm with three holes featuring standard spacing of .500" and .860" for interchangeable drill and tap guide-bushings.
  • Constructed from cast aluminum with adjustable hardened steel "V" blocks for precise height adjustments.
  • Comes complete with a Drill and Tap Bushing Set for 6-48, with additional bushings available for purchase.

The main body of the fixture is designed for true alignment with the exact center of the gun barrel, ensuring that every job is done to perfection. This precision fixture not only saves its cost over time but also allows you to deliver a first-class job on every firearm that comes into your shop.

I have use this a few times now with excellent results. Mounts line up with perfect accuracy. Very easy to use with a hand drill. Bushings are great for drilling and taps.
