The Forster Universal Sight Mounting Fixture is designed to meet the exacting standards required by the most discerning gunsmiths. This versatile tool is capable of handling virtually all bolt action, lever action, and pump action firearms!

Why Choose the Forster Universal Sight Mounting Fixture?

  • Precision Engineering: The jig is crafted to ensure that you achieve the highest level of accuracy when drilling and tapping holes for scope mounts, receiver sights, and shotgun beads.
  • Versatile Compatibility: It accommodates a wide range of firearms, including the Savage 99 and Remington 760, as long as the barrel fits into the "V" blocks of the fixture.
  • Easy to Use: Tubular magazine guns can be processed with ease by first removing the magazine tube, making it user-friendly for all gunsmiths.
  • Eliminates Drill Run-Out: The fixture guides the drill through a hardened and ground drill bushing, ensuring precision and reducing the risk of errors.
  • Accurate Tapping: Tapping is conducted through a correctly sized bushing, preventing tap cocking which is a common cause of breakage and messy holes.

I have use this a few times now with excellent results. Mounts line up with perfect accuracy. Very easy to use with a hand drill. Bushings are great for drilling and taps.
