The Flat-Faced Forward Set Sear & Trigger Kit from APEX Tactical Specialties Inc is an exceptional drop-in upgrade designed to enhance your M&P's factory trigger. This kit provides a smoother trigger pull that mimics the feel of a classic 1911, ensuring improved performance for any shooter.

Key Features:

  • Aluminum Flat-Faced Trigger: Offers a comfortable grip and enhanced control.
  • Forward Set Sear: Reduces pull length by releasing the striker earlier than the factory sear.
  • Ultimate Striker Block Kit: Includes striker block, spring, and installation tool for seamless integration.
  • Forward Set Spring Pack: Comes with 3 lb. and 4 lb. trigger return springs, sear spring, RAM spring, and a plastic slave pin for easy installation.

The innovative design of the Apex Forward Set Sear not only shortens the pull length but also addresses the false reset issue that may affect some M&Ps. With two trigger return springs to choose from, you can select between a lighter 3 lb. or 4 lb. pull weight, both of which enhance control and shot consistency. (Note: 3 lb. is not recommended for duty/carry use.)

The straight, flat trigger face allows for a lower finger position, providing additional leverage and better control to fully utilise the reduced pull weight.

Compatibility:

This kit is compatible with all S&W M&P centerfire pistols manufactured after June 2011 that feature the larger-size (1/8" dia.) sear plunger and spring. Please note, it does NOT fit M2.0, Shield, BodyGuard, and .22 LR models. Installation may require minor gunsmithing, specifically modification of the trigger bar loop.

Brownells Gun Tech™ Note: The Flat-Faced Forward Set Sear & Trigger Kit can be installed on M&Ps manufactured before June 2011 if retro-fitted with the newer sear housing block that accommodates the 1/8" spring and plunger (#940-000-958, sold separately). For pre-June 2011 pistols, the plunger/spring will measure 1/16" in diameter.

Definitely recommended

Brownells USA I love this trigger! 08/05/2015

I put this on an old used M&P and what a difference!!! It really cleaned up the trigger pull on the M&P. A friend has a Walther PPQ, and side by side, my old M&P with this Flat Faced Apex Trigger felt better.



I am very happy with this trigger!! My M&P now breaks like a 1911! No more slop and long trigger pull.
