Transform Your M&P's Trigger Experience with Apex Tactical!

The Flat-Faced Forward Set Sear & Trigger Kit from Apex Tactical is the ideal drop-in replacement for your M&P's factory trigger, enhancing performance with a lower pull weight and reduced pre-travel and over-travel, delivering a trigger pull reminiscent of a 1911.

Key Features:

  • Aluminum Flat-Faced Trigger: Provides a comfortable grip and improved control.
  • Forward Set Sear: Shortens the pull length by releasing the striker further forward than the factory sear.
  • Ultimate Striker Block Kit: Includes striker block, spring, and installation tool, featuring an improved radius for a smoother pull and eliminating false reset issues.
  • Forward Set Spring Pack: Comes with both 3 lb. and 4 lb. trigger return springs, sear spring, RAM spring, and a plastic slave pin to assist with installation.

The Apex Tactical Forward Set Sear enhances your shooting experience by allowing you to choose between a 3 lb. or 4 lb. pull weight, both lighter than the factory pull, providing better control for consistent shot placement (note: 3 lb. is not recommended for duty/carry use).

The straight, flat trigger face enables you to position your finger lower on the trigger, offering additional leverage for greater control and maximising the benefits of the lower pull weight.

Compatibility:

This kit is designed to fit all S&W M&P centrefire pistols manufactured after June 2011 that feature the larger-size (1/8" dia.) sear plunger and spring. It does NOT fit the M2.0, Shield, BodyGuard, or .22 LR models. For pre-2011 M&Ps, installation may require minor gunsmithing, specifically modification of the trigger bar loop.

Brownells Gun Tech™ Note: The Flat-Faced Forward Set Sear & Trigger Kit can be installed on an M&P manufactured before June 2011 if it has been retro-fitted with the newer sear housing block that accepts the 1/8" spring and plunger (# 940-000-958, sold separately). If you possess a pre-June 2011 pistol, the plunger/spring will be 1/16" in diameter.

Definitely recommended

Brownells USA I love this trigger! 08/05/2015

I put this on an old used M&P and what a difference!!! It really cleaned up the trigger pull on the M&P. A friend has a Walther PPQ, and side by side, my old M&P with this Flat Faced Apex Trigger felt better.



I am very happy with this trigger!! My M&P now breaks like a 1911! No more slop and long trigger pull.
