Works fine at first glance, but...... 10/05/2024
The good bits:
Received this morning and all seems to be working thus far. After a 30 minute warm up I tested the calibration and that passed no issues. I then put some Vhit N135 in and ran the powder calibration before testing some 21.5 grain loads. Each time it raced up to 21.2 and trickled the last 0.3 each one completing very quickly. Out of ten loads all were on 21.5 nothing over or under. All I have to do now is test against my beam scale to ensure my loads are correct.
The bad bits:
Upon opening the box I noticed that despite being assured this would come with UK attachment for the power supply it did not. The device is 230v so I was able to use an adapter to get it working to test. Would have much rather had the correct lead but I will speak with Brownells about that. The only other thing I am not a fan of is the powder pour tube for getting the excess powder back out. Its not great in the sense that it is really awkward to open while trying to hold a bottle under it, i may have to try and fashion a little handle for that.
Overall:
This is the first Automatic powder measure I have bought and I am pleased with it so far this should make light work of future reloading.
