Discover the Precision of Douglas Barrels

Introducing the CONTOUR #7, DOUGLAS .224 1-12 TWIST CM #7 CONTOUR ULTRA RIFLED BARREL, a match-grade barrel blank crafted by the oldest barrel maker in the U.S., Douglas.

Product Overview

Famous for their Douglas Double XX, these premium-grade barrels are an excellent choice for any rebarrelling project. They are known for their proven accuracy and the finest care in manufacture.

  • Button rifled: Ensures unequalled smoothness.
  • Tolerances: Groove diameter and straightness held to .0005".
  • Barrel features: .22 through .338 barrels feature 6 grooves, while .358, .375, and .458 barrels have 8.
  • Manufacturing process: No straightening is done, and all barrels are stress relieved.

Specifications

Constructed from 4140 Chrome moly and stainless steel. The "Finished" dimensions are shown in the chart. Unturned Blanks will be .025" (.63mm) to .050" (1.3mm) larger in diameter and 1-½" (3.8cm) longer than shown. Please note that these barrels are not threaded or chambered.
