You can give them any thread length, any overall length and any head thickness desired. Blanks are made of easy-to-thread, tough, forging steel. If hard wearing surface is desired after threading, screws should be treated in Brownells Surface Hardening Compound (#083-000-033).

Product Features:

  • Includes 20 screws in various head sizes:
    • No. 4 Head - O.D. .220" (5.6mm)
    • No. 6 Head - O.D. .265" (6.6mm)
    • No. 8 Head - O.D. .303" (7.7mm)
    • No. 10 Head - O.D. .303" (7.7mm)
    • No. 12 Head - O.D. .355" (9.1mm)
    • 1/4" Head - O.D. .398" (9.9mm)
  • Shank length on all sizes: 2.225" (5.65mm), measured from the underside of the head.
  • All screws are pre-slotted for your convenience.
  • Refills sold in packs of 20.

Easy Customisation:

All that is needed is a die with the right threads to make a vast variety of gun screws simply and immediately! You will also require a file, and either a drill press or a pin vise. This kit allows you to create screws with any thread length, overall length, and head thickness desired.

Durable Material:

The blanks are made of easy-to-thread, tough, forging steel. If a hard-wearing surface is desired after threading, we recommend treating the screws in Brownells Surface Hardening Compound (#083-000-033).
