050806011809 All that is needed is a die with the right threads to make a vast variety of gun screws simply and immediately! You will also need a file, and either a drill press or a pin vise. You can give them any thread length, any overall length and any head thickness desired. Blanks are made of easy-to-thread, tough, forging steel. If hard wearing surface is desired after threading, screws should be treated in Brownells Surface Hardening Compound (#083-000-033).

Specifications:

The kit includes:

  • 20 pieces of No. 4 Head - O.D., .220" (5.6mm)

  • 20 pieces of No. 8 Head - O.D., .303" (7.7mm)

All screws feature a shank length of 2.225" (5.65mm), measured from the underside of the head, and are pre-slotted for your convenience. Refills are available, sold 20 per pack.
