No straightening is done and all barrels are stress relieved.

Introducing the Douglas .270 1-10 Twist CM Unturned Blank Ultra Rifled Barrel, a match-grade barrel blank from the U.S.'s oldest barrel maker. Renowned for their quality, Douglas Double XX barrels are the perfect choice for any rebarrelling project.

  • Proven accuracy and meticulous manufacturing care.
  • Button rifled for unparalleled smoothness.
  • Tolerances for groove diameter and straightness held to .0005".
  • .264 through .338 barrels feature 6 grooves.
  • .358, .375, and .458 barrels have 8 grooves.
  • No straightening is done; all barrels are stress relieved.

Specifications:

Made from 4140 Chrome moly and stainless steel. The "finished" dimensions are detailed in the chart. Unturned Blanks will be .025" (.63mm) - .050" (1.3mm) larger in diameter and 1-½" (3.8cm) longer than indicated. These barrels are not threaded or chambered.
