Button rifled for unequalled smoothness with tolerances for groove diameter and straightness held to .0005". .264 through .338 barrels feature 6- grooves while the .358, .375 and .458 barrels have 8. No straightening is done and all barrels are stress relieved.

Introducing the Douglas .257 1-10 Twist CM Unturned Blank Ultra Rifled Barrel, a premier choice for your rebarrelling needs. Crafted by the oldest barrel maker in the U.S., these match-grade barrel blanks are renowned for their exceptional quality and accuracy.

Product Features:

  • Premium-Grade Quality: Famous Douglas Double XX barrels offer proven accuracy with meticulous manufacturing standards.
  • Button Rifled: Designed for unparalleled smoothness, with groove diameter and straightness tolerances maintained to .0005".
  • Groove Counts: Barrels ranging from .264 to .338 feature 6 grooves, while .358, .375, and .458 barrels have 8 grooves.
  • Stress Relieved: All barrels undergo stress relief, ensuring durability and performance.

Specifications:

Material: 4140 Chrome Moly and Stainless Steel. The "finished" dimensions are detailed in the accompanying chart. Please note that Unturned Blanks will be .025" (.63mm) to .050" (1.3mm) larger in diameter and 1-½" (3.8cm) longer than indicated. These barrels are not threaded or chambered.
