I have been using the pins on broken stocks for years. They are great to use on broken stocks. They keep the broken stocks together when used right.

I used it to repair a stock that had been badly split. It belonged to a friend who wanted to pass his rifle that his grandfather owned to his son for Christmas. It was a .30-06, and after testing the fix at the range, I was impressed with the strength it added to the stock.
A VERY strong and reliable solution, and very easy to install.
It would be nice to have instructions on how best to install it so that it shows on only one side of the stock. There are many ways you can go with that, but what is the best?
