815145027719 L.E. WILSON INC. STAINLESS STEEL MICROMETER CASE TRIMMER The L.E. Wilson Stainless Micro Trimmer enables the user to easily make quick trim adjustments in .001" increments. The compact micrometer unit is directly incorporated into the stop bearing. The L.E. Wilson trimmer uses case holders that hold the case neck by the body taper and utilizes no pilots during the case trimming operation. The trimmer utilizes a rail system that the case holders, cutter housing, and adjustment stop sits on providing perfect alignment with each other. Trimmer case holders are available separately. FEATURES Trims .17 to .45 Caliber Cases New Stainless long lasting finish with Micrometer adjustment Larger stop screw adjustment from 3/8" (old) to 1/2" (new) with increased width on Stop Nut. Makes for a firm stop. Coated with black oxide for a long lasting durable finish. L.E. WIlson Case Trimmer 12/05/2017
I've owned a L.E. Wilson case trimmer for about 5 years now. You have to buy the proper case holders for each caliber you are reloading / prepping for. The optional stand is advised in order to mount the system to a workbench. I've found that this case trimmer is capable of trimming to very accurate dimensional length and on a very consistent basis. The case holders allow the trimmer to cut the case length square with the centerline of the case. Nice clean cut. Need to chamfer the inside / outside of the case mouth. I use my Lyman case prep machine. I have difficulty using the hand turned reamers to remove the crimp on military grade casings. Again, that's where the Lyman case prep machines come in real handy. I use my L. E. Wilson to trim to specified length both .223 / 5,56 and .308 shell casings. Everything L. E. Wilson makes is of great quality and design. Precision made to give precision results. I also like to use their case gauges to confirm my cases have been resized and trimmed to proper dimensions. Nice package all around.
