The Assault Panel Core serves as a multi-mission back panel attachment for your LV-119 OVERT Rear Plate Bag. This panel is engineered to meet a variety of requirements, from a lightweight Assault Panel to a more robust Pack Panel.
- Expandable and Modular: Accommodates a wide array of equipment for almost any operational need.
- Secure Attachment: Attaches to the LV-119 Rear Plate Bag with 6 directional snaps and 2 full-length zippers.
- Stabilizers: Two stabilizers route inside the Rear Plate Bag when used in "Configuration 2 or 3".
- Customizable Flap System: Allows users to configure the upper half of the panel to meet mission needs (flaps sold separately).
This innovative design eliminates the need for multiple panels, enabling quicker donning and doffing of mission-essential equipment.
NOTE: This LV/119 Cummerbund is specifically designed for use with a front and rear LV/119 plate bag. The 5-Inch Elastic Cummerbund provides a simple and effective solution for professionals needing to carry additional ammunition and equipment while maintaining a low profile. Side loading is ideal for ground vehicle and low visibility operations.
- Elastic Cells: 3 inches wide, designed around standard 5.56 Magazines, such as the PMAG.
- User Comfort: Prevents fatigue during prolonged wear as it stretches with the body during active maneuvers.
- Stable Carriage: Holds taller items securely, enhancing stability.
- Bungee Retention Kit: Compatible with sewn-on pull tabs for secure item holding during HALO, OTB, or other kinetic operations.
Cummerbund Attachment
The cummerbund attachment features a proprietary system compatible with all Spiritus Systems cummerbunds, allowing for extensive adjustment. The cummerbund attaches inside the plate bag, providing several advantages:
- No external mounting to snag or rip off when exiting vehicles in haste.
- Creates a smooth profile when worn under clothing.
- Eliminates the use of Hook & Loop as an attachment method on the rear plate bag, which can wear out over time.
Sizing
The cummerbund is available in two sizes: Size 1 and Size 2, each offering up to 14 inches of total adjustment for a proper fit across all body types. To determine the appropriate size, measure the waist at the belly button while dressed as you would when wearing the carrier.
- Size 1: 28" to 42"
- Size 2: 40" to 54"
IMPORTANT: If your waist measurement is 42", we recommend opting for the Size 2 cummerbund. The LV119 Cummerbund is an integral part of the LV119 Plate Carrier System and does not include a Front Plate Bag, Rear Plate Bag, Shoulder Covers, Placards, or any other accessories. Additional components are required for proper use. Some images may show optional accessories, sold separately.
