The SINCLAIR TWO PIECE CLEANING ROD GUIDES are designed to provide shooters with optimal alignment of the cleaning rod to the bore, ensuring a thorough and effective cleaning process.

Product Features:

  • Two-Piece Bore Guide System: Utilizes a guide within a guide for enhanced alignment.
  • Guide Body: Fits into the action and seals the chamber with an O-ring, similar to traditional bore guides.
  • Slip Fit Design: A separate guide slides into the rear of the guide body to accommodate the cleaning rod.
  • Tight-Fitting Insert: The 8" insert prevents rod flexing and keeps it centered, avoiding contact with rifling during cleaning.
  • Material Construction: Both the guide body and insert are machined from Delrin with rubber O-ring seals to prevent solvent ingress.
  • Compatibility: Guide bodies are made to fit the Remington 700 and other rifles with .700" diameter bolts.

Slightly recommend

Brownells USA It works but... 15/08/2018

Brownells makes some stuff, but I don't think the two piece rod guide is one of them. It is not very user friendly, and makes cleaning more difficult than it should be. The two piece rod guide is also VERY long. I have a 36" rod, and it is not long enough to clean my rifle with a 26" barrel using this rod guide as is. I had to trim .5" off the end so that the patch would clear the end of the barrel. Brushes won't fully exit the barrel.



I prefer the Possum Hollow guide over these.

Brownells USA 17 Caliber Insert 14/12/2017

Looking thru the guide you can see where it was drilled from each end. Drilling wandered and did not meet together perfectly, causing resistance when rod is slipped thru guide. Hopefully my cleaning rod does not contact throat area. I may return item using Sinclair's lifetime warranty.
