The PMAG 5 AC is a reliable and durable polymer magazine compatible with AICS spec bottom metal. Compatible with .308 Winchester based family of cartridges. It comes standard as a 5 round capacity magazine for hunting regulation compliance, but the follower can be easily modified by the user to increase the capacity of the magazine to 6 for field, competition or combat use. Built using M3 technology, this magazine is advanced in both material technology and manufacturing processes, and we’ve given it more features to make it the most advanced, reliable bolt action magazine on the market.

fits and feeds in Ruger Scout/GSR (23/11/2015)

Fits and feeds in the Ruger .308 GSR/Scout.

A little longer than than the Ruger polymer 5 rounder, but this one holds 6 if you trip the follower.

Buy 2 of these or 1 AI Mag (20/12/2015)

Fits both my Remington 700 with aftermarket bottom metal and my AI rifle.

Feeds great, drops free and will hold 6 rounds with modification (supported but Magpul).

It's also very strong and easy to get apart to clean.

Saves the Ruger GSR (05/07/2016)

This magazine literally saves the Ruger GSR platform. The Magpul design solves a multitude of problems found with the OEM steel and polymer magazines.

Works great in for 6.5 Creedmoor (20/02/2017)

Great textured surface easy to grab when it's raining on me and the rifle. Reliably fed (and super smooth) 6.5 Creedmoor into a Remington 700 using a KRG X-Ray chassis. Inexpensive compared to competing AICS magazines. Quality fit and finish expected from Magpul. Very easy to disassemble in case you drop it in the mud and need to clean it out. 2.885" max internal length allows for some really awesome seating depths.

Things that don't matter: Aesthetics are an acquired taste, and not as visually appealing as metal AICS mags. Won't cook me breakfast and give me a massage.

Great mag for the$$ (03/02/2018)

This mag fit the MDT LSS-XL Gen2 perfect with Remington 700 PSP Varmint 22-250. If you want to load 6 rounds you have to disassembly the magazine and cut off 1/4" which in the middle of the magazine. But this mag not fit MDT ESS with Remington 700 R5 6.5 CM need to modify to fit , not a big problem.
