The MODLITE SYSTEMS PLHV2 LIGHT HEAD is designed to enhance your tactical lighting needs. This replacement light head is a direct substitute for the Surefire M600DF head, offering exceptional performance and versatility.

  • High Lumen Output: Approximately 680 lumens with a throw that exceeds the M600DF by about 400%, making it ideal for situations requiring extreme throw.
  • Compatibility: Use with the Modlite 18650 body or the smaller Modlite 18350 body.
  • Durable Construction: Made from 6061 Series Aluminium with Mil-Spec Hard Anodizing for enhanced durability.
  • Optical Clarity: Ultra clear BOROFLOAT® lens allows for 98-99% light transmittance.

This light head is hand assembled and tested in the USA, ensuring top-notch quality. It comes with a lifetime guarantee, providing peace of mind for your investment.

IR-850 Light Head:

The IR-850 light head is specifically designed for IR illumination, outputting IR light in the 850nm spectrum. It can be used with our 18650 body, our smaller 18350 body, or the Surefire® M600DF Dual Fuel body.

  • IR Output: Approximately 1100mW IR output (for comparison, the SF 952v is 160mW).
  • Reflector Design: Delivers a good amount of spill and a well-defined hot spot at distances up to 300 yards, depending on atmospheric conditions.

Important Note: Lithium CR123 cells are not supported and may cause overheating, explosion, or fire. We recommend using KeepPower 18650/18350 high drain cells, which can be found here. Runtime is approximately 120 minutes with 18650 cells and about 50 minutes with the smaller 18350 cells. Do not stack 18350 cells into an 18650 body as this can cause malfunction. Always use 18650 cells in 18650 bodies and 18350 cells in 18350 bodies.
