The MODLITE SYSTEMS PLHV2 Light Head is designed for those who demand exceptional performance from their lighting systems.

Product Description

The REPLACEMENT LIGHT HEADS offer a direct replacement for the Surefire M600DF head, compatible with both the Modlite 18650 body and the smaller Modlite 18350 body. Although the lumen output is rated at 680 lumens, the throw is approximately 400% greater than that of the M600DF, making it ideal for situations requiring extreme throw.

Each light head is hand assembled and tested in the USA, backed by a lifetime guarantee. With approximately 680 out the front lumens and a candela rating of around 69,000, this light is an excellent choice for anyone needing maximum throw.

IR-850 Light Head

The IR-850 light head is specifically designed to output IR light in the 850nm IR spectrum. It can be used with our 18650 body, our smaller 18350 body, or the Surefire® M600DF Dual Fuel body. The reflector is crafted to deliver a good amount of spill and a well-defined hot spot at distances up to 300 yards, depending on atmospheric conditions.

Specifications include:

  • 6061 Series Alum bezel with Mil-Spec Hard Anodizing

Important Note: Lithium CR123 cells are not supported; using them may cause the cells to heat up and potentially explode or catch fire. We recommend the KeepPower 18650/18350 high drain cells, which can be found here. The runtime is approximately 120 minutes with 18650 cells and about 50 minutes with the smaller 18350 cells. Do not stack 18350 cells into an 18650 body, as this can cause the light to malfunction. Only use 18650 cells in 18650 bodies and 18350 cells in 18350 bodies.
