The EGW Remington 700, 722, 40x Short Action Heavy Duty Scope Bases provide a robust solution for mounting your scope without the need for drilling or tapping. Designed for versatility, these bases allow you to easily add a one-piece Picatinny scope rail to your shotgun.

Key Features:

  • Precision Machined: Crafted from extruded aluminum, these bases feature Picatinny slot-and-rail spacing for quick adjustments to eye relief.
  • Factory Fit: Drilled to fit the factory scope mount holes on your gun’s receiver.
  • Ring Compatibility: Accepts both Picatinny and Weaver scope rings.
  • Heavy Duty Design: These mounts are .100" lower than Lightweight mounts, reducing weight and improving accuracy by keeping your optic closer to the barrel centerline.
  • Full-width Cross-slots: Gauged to MIL-STD 1913 specs to +/-.002".
  • Durable Construction: Made from ultra-rigid extruded 7075 T6 aluminum, ensuring longevity and performance.

Specifications:

  • Material: Heavy Duty - 7075 T6 aluminum, mil-spec hardcoat anodized, or 4140 chrome-moly steel pre-hardened to Rc 32-35, mil-spec Parkerized, matte black.
  • Included: Socket head Torx® screws and wrench.

EGW recommends using 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite for installation.

I shoot F class and seems to be a very good rail for the price. Thay shipped very fast, it could come in steel it would be great.
