The QUICK DISCHARGE BRAKE 30 CALIBER from HOLLANDS GUNSMITHING is engineered to significantly reduce felt recoil, making it an essential addition for high volume shooters.

Product Features:

  • Three expansion chambers provide up to 45% measured reduction in felt recoil.
  • Triple baffle and exhaust slots redirect noise and muzzle blast away from the shooter.
  • Quiet sounding brake that is easy to clean.
  • Closed bottom design prevents exiting gas from blowing up dirt and debris.
  • Tapered shank for easier fitting to various barrel diameters.
  • Adds 1-1/4" to barrel length.
  • Includes a thread protector.

Brownells USA METAL TOO HARD 11/02/2015

We tore up everything in the gunsmith shop trying to drill this out to .360 for .338 Ultra. Somehow this Stainless Steel was significantly hardened by over heating etc.

Brake is effective and one of the only "open" designs allowing easy cleaning if snow/garbage gets into it. Just wish they sold a thread protector, but nothing a few minutes on a lathe won't correct.
