The QUICK DISCHARGE BRAKE 30 CALIBER from HOLLANDS GUNSMITHING is designed for high volume shooters seeking a quieter shooting experience without compromising on performance.

  • Triple baffle design with exhaust slots that redirect noise and muzzle blast away from the shooter.
  • Easy to clean, offering a quiet sounding brake ideal for extended shooting sessions.
  • Closed bottom design prevents exiting gas from stirring up dirt and debris.
  • Tapered shank for easy fitting to various barrel diameters.
  • Increases barrel length by 1-1/4".
  • Includes a thread protector for added convenience.

Brownells USA METAL TOO HARD 11/02/2015

We tore up everything in the gunsmith shop trying to drill this out to .360 for .338 Ultra. Somehow this Stainless Steel was significantly hardened by over heating etc.

Brake is effective and one of the only "open" designs allowing easy cleaning if snow/garbage gets into it. Just wish they sold a thread protector, but nothing a few minutes on a lathe won't correct.
