Titanium Carbide has the highest hardness of any readily available carbide and provides a slick, non-galling surface. The price is a little higher but no lubrication is needed and your cases will glide through the sizing die. Pro Series Pistol Die Sets are designed for use in progressive reloading machines. The expander die is eliminated from the set and a separate crimp die is substituted. The set includes a carbide sizing die, bullet seater (no crimp type), and a separate crimp die. Please note: These dies are specifically designed for progressive machines that expand the case mouth at the powder metering station so no expander die is included with this die set.

Recommended
My set works very well..... 10/02/2014
I had another brand of 9mm die set. I was getting about a 5% reject rate. I purchased the pro die set for use with a Dillion 550, and my reject rate is >0.5% using "pick-up" range brass. I did have a problem with OALs being inconsistant. I called Redding and they sent me a different seating insert (at no charge). This solved the problem. I've loaded 20,000+ through this set without touching any of the settings - other than having to reinstall the de-priming pin occasionally.
Not recommended
Stay away! - complete waste of money 10/07/2013
Don;t bother either go the comp or Honardy - don't waste your time with this rubbish.
