Like all night sights, Perfect Dots use self-illuminating Tritium to get the "always on" glow that makes them so effective. The difference is PDs have 30% more Tritium, so they are unusually bright. The Tritium insert isn’t surrounded by a painted-on ring, but rather one made of a daylight fluorescing material that produces optimum visibility in daylight. The result is what the Night Fision folks have dubbed the "Perfect Dot". The Perfect Dot provides maximum visibility in both nighttime AND daylight conditions, so when the pressure is on, you’ll locate your sights more quickly and get them on target - fast. A new mounting system holds the Tritium vial more securely to protect it from the ravages of unexpected knocks and dings. Perfect Dot sights are designed to fit standard (G17-size) and compact frame (G26-size) Glock pistols in factory heights. Additionally, there is a specific model for the Glock 42 / 43. Options include square or U-shaped rear notches, and you can choose from White, Orange, or Yellow outlines around the front sight. Best new supp. sight out there 29/09/2018
So let me be the first to review the sights as there are not many out there. I purchased these for a ZEV build where I was going to use an RMR sight. The main selling point for these sights are the rear sight where there is no white ring visible, but still had tritium inserts. Excellent guides if the red dot goes down or canât be immediately picked up. It makes it a lot easier to pick up your red dot . Iâve used just about all the sights for glocks and these are my new favorite. No fitting needed. Tight on install. Super clear front sight. Just bought 2 more.
