It's thread locker, it locks threads. The blue stuff holds tight, but not permanently.
I use this the most 06/05/2012
This stuff is a staple of most garages. Will hold most threads without a problem. The nice thing about this "color" is that if you need to take the threads apart eventually it can be done by heating the parts to cause release. For this reason, I always try blue first. If it won't hold, then I use the red. 90% of the time, blue will suffice.
