Definitely recommended

Deer slayer 30/01/2015

I handloaded these using Hodgdon H322 into my 6.8 SPC II AR. In the last two years I've taken down a few deer with them. Last year my buck dropped right where he stood and during field dressing, I discovered massage internal damage with an exit wound that was 2.5 inches. I will continue to buy, and load these rounds. Highly recommend!

TWO ONE SHOT KILLS ON ROOSEVELT ELK. RECOVERED RETAINED WEIGHTS; 148.8 GRAINS, 149.2 GRAINS!!
IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT. WHY 150 GRAIN FOR ELK? IF YOU CAN SHOOT, AND PUT IT THEIR EAR (I PRACTICE), YOU DON'T NEED A CANNON.

Excellent results on moose! 12/02/2012

Used these 180 gr 30 cal e-tips on my moose hunt last fall. One shot, just behind the shoulder joint, never took another step, DRT. Bullet was not recovered, and the exit was slightly larger than golf ball sized. Accuracy out of my 300 Weatherby is stellar (5/8 MOA), although it took a bit of playing to find a happy OAL. They were pretty sensitive to minor seating depth changes. I did find that with the long bearing surface, these bullets can show pressure quickly, so work your load up carefully and slowly, just as with the original smooth-sided Barnes X. I find them more accurate than the Barnes TTSX, but you won't be able to drive them as fast. They also shoot one ragged hole with my 270 WSM (130 gr), and plan to use them on some big Maine Whitetails this coming season. I've always liked Nosler components. Top shelf bullets and brass.
