Introducing the newest addition to the EGW lineup: The Hunter series picatinny scope mount. EGW recognized the need for a shorter, lighter, heavy-duty picatinny scope mount, and this is what they created. After countless hours of prototyping and testing, the Hunter mount was born.

- Ambidextrous Bevel: Standard bevel on both sides for versatility.
The bolt pattern on the Remington 700 Long Action mount is compatible with Long Action Remington 700 rifles (e.g., 30-06, 300 Win Mag), as well as the 740 and 40x. However, please note that the Remington 700 mount will NOT fit Howa 1500 or Weatherby Vanguard rifles. Although the bolt pattern is similar, the remainder of the mount (ejection port, length, etc.) makes it incompatible with these two models. EGW recommends measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to ensure it matches the published dimensions.
Flexible Mounting Options:
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, providing flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the centre reduces the overall mass of the mount and, in many cases, will not obstruct the use of factory iron sights. EGW's one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.
Manufacturing and Installation:
These mounts are machined in EGW's shop using advanced machining centres. After machining, the mounts undergo tumbling, sand blasting, and Type III anodizing for long-lasting durability. For installation, EGW recommends:
- 20 inch lbs of torque
- A drip of blue Loctite (sold separately)
EGW suggests:
- 0 MOA: for shooting 0-500 yards
- 20 MOA: for shooting 500-1000 yards
When zeroing your rifle with a 20 MOA mount, EGW recommends zeroing at 200 yards.
