The Hawkins Precision Hunter Magazine is designed for shooters who want to utilize magazines in their hunting rifles without compromising the overall cartridge length (COAL) of their rounds.

Key Features:

  • Flush design that minimizes snagging on branches and brush.
  • Easy loading and unloading for quick rifle handling.
  • Manufactured from a single piece of billet aluminum for durability.

These magazines are specifically designed for use in the Hawkins Precision Hunter M5 DBM, providing hunters with additional magazine space for longer bullets and calibers.

Specifications:

  • Short Action Standard: Holds 4 rounds (~2.880″ internal length)
  • Short Action Magnum: Holds 3 rounds (~2.980″ internal length)
  • Long Action: Holds 3 rounds (~3.770″ internal length)

Note that Long Actions are designed to be run with beltless magnum cases and may not feed optimally with belted magazines. Additionally, Long Action Hunter DBMs require gunsmithing in factory-length Remington 700 actions and Zermatt Origins to accommodate the magazine COAL.
