050806009233 BROWNELL’S FIXED-BLADE SCREWDRIVER SETS The Brownells Fixed-Blade Screwdriver Sets are meticulously designed for gunsmiths and firearm enthusiasts who require precision and durability in their tools. These screwdrivers feature parallel-ground blades that ensure maximum contact with screw slots, minimizing the risk of cam-out and damage to both the screw and firearm components. Description and Features: Parallel-Ground Blades: Each screwdriver blade is ground parallel to provide a precise fit in screw slots, enhancing torque application and reducing the likelihood of slippage. Hardened Steel Construction: The blades and shanks are hardened to Rc 58-60, offering exceptional strength and durability for demanding gunsmithing tasks. Long Shank Design: The long parallel shank maintains the same diameter as the width of the blade. This allows repeated regrindings and reshapings while still maintaining the original blade width. In addition, it allows the screwdriver to go into holes or recesses that are only screw-slot wide. The hex section allows you to use either an open-end wrench or one of the Midget Ratchets for more turning power on the heavier blades. Finally, we put a size-sequence number - from 1 (smallest) to 20 (largest) on the hex section of each individual screwdriver so you can pick the size you want quickly. Hexagonal Section: A hex section on the shank permits the use of an open-end wrench or midget ratchet for additional turning power on stubborn screws. Ergonomic Handles: The handles are custom-made to our specifications to fit your hand well. They aren't too bulky, yet give a mighty good grip when large, tight screws have to be broken loose, and "fingertip" control when dealing with tiny, delicate screws. Available Sets: Starter Set: Includes 10 essential screwdrivers suitable for common gunsmithing applications. Completer Set: Adds 10 additional screwdrivers to the Starter Set, expanding the range of sizes and applications. Master Set: Comprises all 20 screwdrivers from both the Starter and Completer Sets, along with a properly radiused Bit Shaping Stone and a bottle of Brownells Best Penetrating Oil™ for maintenance. Super Master Set: Enhances the Master Set by including six Allen head fixed-blade screwdrivers, three Phillips "Anti-Cam" screwdrivers, and an additional bench block for organized storage.
