Allows the reamer to remain parallel with the bore, while compensating for up to .030" of misalignment or wear between tailstock and chuck. Wide bearing surface, plus hardened and ground components give smooth movement with no cam-to-center lockup. Low mass, aluminum head lets the tool quickly respond to the slightest out of roundness. Hardened steel bushing eliminates wear in the reamer socket. Features interchangeable shanks; holder is reamed to accept shank with #2 Jacobs taper. Furnished with 1/2" diameter straight shank.

Definitely recommended
Great tool 16/03/2011
I had another reamer holder and cursed it all the time I used it. I bought the Manson tool and have been a happy camper since. It has made a huge difference in time required to cut a chamber, it's safer, and I have been impressed by the quality of the product.

nice reamer holder 12/08/2009
I use this holder when I have a barrel to short to go all the way through the headstock on my lathe and have to setup using the steady rest. It follows the bore very well and allows a nice cut which makes it very hard to tell which chamber was cut on a steady rest or on the spider at the rear of the head stock. great product and would sugest it to anyone.
