Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Great Product 13/04/2012

I have fit decelerators to both Rifle and Shotgun stocks. They are easier to grind than some of the other "soft" pads, but they work very well to tame recoil. My customers love them. I use a 12" disk sander with 80 grit paper on it to grind these things. Wear an apron and a mask when you grind, as it may well be the dirtiest job in gunsmithing. I like to rub the finished surface with a little Armorall to dress up the cut edges.
