MCTAR-06 has pivoting, 1¼" wide swivel for direct sling attachment. Rubber coating on swivel prevents noisy, metal-to-metal contact. MCTAR-07 includes a fixed, dome-shaped stud that accepts your own, standard quick-detach swivel. MCTAR-08 includes a 11⁄4" wide, 360º rotating, push-button swivel for rapid sling removal. MCTAR-08HD has heavy duty base and swivel that stands up to extreme tactical operations. 1¼" wide, quick-detach swivel limits travel to prevent sling wrapping yet allows necessary movement.

Definitely recommended
For rail in front sight post of AR 15 06/02/2016
I'm have an AR 15 rifle and use a Magpul MS3 sling for single/dual point carry. I have a 2 sided rail mounted in the front sight post and have had a heck of a time finding a QD swivel that doesn't encroach on the sight picture. This hunk of well made metal was just the ticket. I was a little surprised that the swivel doesn't move 360 but found after using it a while found that it is actually better that it does not move, there is maybe 20 degrees of movement form whatever position you set the QD in. The limiter is built into the mount not the QD.
