Face Off & Square Up Rifle & Handgun Muzzles

This hardened steel, 90° facing cutter is designed to square a muzzle after shortening or to repair dings and damage. The set includes the cutter, a handle, and one brass pilot, all conveniently packaged in a durable polypropylene box.

Key Features:

Hardened Steel Cutter: Ensures durability and precision.
Length: 3¼" (8.2cm) long, except for the .165" cutter which is 2-3/8" (6cm) long.
Diameter Options: Available in 1" (2.5cm) or .750" (19mm) as required.
Aluminium Handle: 3½" (8.9cm) long and weighs 3 oz. (85 g).
Brass Pilot: 1¼" (3.2cm) long for optimal alignment.

Good Jub Squaring Muzzle 18/03/2010

If you don't have access to a lathe this is the best way to face a muzzle that you have cut. While the lathe is preferable this does a really good job in a pinch. It's built well, very sharp, and leaves a nice finish on the metal. I strongly recommend finishing the crown with 79 degree crown cutter.
