Spring-loaded, telescoping legs adjust quickly, fold parallel to barrel for carrying. Series 1A2 bipods have solid base and do not swivel or rotate. Series S bipods rotate 45° for instant leveling on uneven ground. Buffer springs and adjustable tension on hinged base help eliminate tremor. All Models available in either Series. The HARRIS 1A2-BRM Bipod Sling Swivel Mount is designed to mount seamlessly to QD swivel studs on bolt action and single-shot rifles, ensuring ultimate field accuracy. This bipod will not change your zero, and its added weight helps to steady your firearm.
Constructed from aluminum and high carbon steel with an anodized black finish, the adjustment height range is from the resting surface to the center of the bore. The height is noted in the chart below, and the BRM model features equally spaced height adjusting notches.

If you're looking for a lightweight bipod, this model is shockingly light and easily removed/attached for use on multiple guns. Height is perfect for both benchrest and prone. The legs are a bit cumbersome to adjust compared to the Harris spring model alternative; however, after individually pushing the buttons on each leg, they snap open to their fullest length, which is where you'll want them 99% of the time. For the other 1%, there's enough adjustment possiblities within the notches to make purchasing the more expensive swivel model more of a "luxury" decision than one of necessity. If weight and expense are not a consideration, I'd recommend going for the swivel headed springed model for ease of operation as it allows you to do the trick of pulling a string tied to the legs for an instantaneous deployment, otherwise this will do you perfectly once deployed with only a small amount of additional time and effort!
