Rock Island armory M-S Series commander 24/03/2018

I love the look and feel of the part, but unfortunately this item does not fit my commander style 1911.

I have a Rock Island 1911 A1 MS (this is a mid size gun from them) with a 4.25" barrel. The housing goes in nice an tight, but i got about an 1/8" or more of it hanging out the bottom before the pin lines up. I'm afraid to have a gunsmith work on it because if it wont work i cant return it.

Purcahsed for my Colt O1980 XSE 01/01/2017

No fitting required for my Colt O1980 XSE dropped right in. Tight fit. Replaced the stock poly housing with straight serrations. This Wilson Combat unit feels and looks way better.
