This heavy duty slide stop is precision machined from hardened steel bar stock and then heat-treated to ensure superb hardness and durability. It guarantees a precise fit to the frame, providing a secure and consistent lockup while preventing slop or “play” that can compromise accuracy.

Choose between a standard .200" diameter pin or an oversized .203" pin for custom fitting, ensuring the tightest possible lockup for maximum accuracy. Both sizes are available in blued 4140 carbon steel or stainless steel, both featuring a fine bead-blasted matte finish.

Fine-line serrations on the pad provide your finger with a secure purchase, allowing for a smooth slide release on the first pass.

EGW generally has a fine product. The overall detail and machine work on this one was fine. The problem I had was the rear lug that meets the Mag follower was cut very different than from 1911 spec as well as any SS I had on hand to compare it with. Therefore, it would work with some mags (as far as holding the slide back when empty) but definitely would not with other mags (mostly the older style). Measuring the rear lug from the bottom was .2035 long. The others I had were .2065. Not much of a difference, but the contours were definitely different and maybe that's the problem.The shaft was a perfect .200 though!
