It is simple to instal, and use. No more problems getting the mag out.

I little raddle against the trigger gaurd but other than that it works like a dream. Mag switch is a breeze and it improves the look of the rifle. A big help!

I perchased the the release for easyer faster mag changes. It is functional but the fit is sloppy and rattles. But for the price, it is ok...

Informal in practice I discovered:

It was much easier to disengage the magazine.

The device bends easily.

I found myself dropping the magazine inadvertently, a lot.

I won't say it's a bad product, but didn't work for my purposes.

I would modify it, but it got hung in a sling, and bent. They aren't especially durable.

Super easy mag release (16/09/2018)

I put this on a 10/22 for my father in law who suffers with arthritis. This release makes mag changes much easier for him. I just tap the lever with the knuckle on my middle finger, the mag drops free and I can catch it with my support hand. The factory flush lever made mag changes a pain. So far no problems, but I can see how it would be easy to bend if snagged.

There are so many different magazine releases I had a hard time deciding which one to order..Boy am I glad I chose this one!It looks great on the rifle and works even better! Makes magazine changes a snap..Great Product!!

Design/Manufacturing Flaw (04/07/2010)

The engagement surface of the release is inadequate resulting in a sloppy fit for this unit. I would not purchase another.
