Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Super easy mag release 16/09/2018

I put this on a 10/22 for my father in law who suffers with arthritis. This release makes mag changes much easier for him. I just tap the lever with the knuckle on my middle finger, the mag drops free and I can catch it with my support hand. The factory flush lever made mag changes a pain. So far no problems, but I can see how it would be easy to bend if snagged.

Informal in practice I discovered:

It was much easier to disengage the magazine.

The device bends easily.

I found myself dropping the magazine inadvertently, a lot.

I won't say it's a bad product, but didn't work for my purposes.

I would modify it, but it got hung in a sling, and bent. They aren't especially durable.
