A Completely Adjustable Trigger for Your Remington 700
Designed from the ground up as one of the most customizable triggers on the market, the Timney Calvin Elite Trigger features a factory-calibrated design that's adjustable for sear engagement, overtravel and pull weight. In addition, the trigger also allows for an incredible amount of custom adjustment on the trigger shoe. Each Timney Calvin Elite trigger features shoes that can be adjusted for length of pull, cast and height, providing shooters with the ability to create the ultimate precision trigger that best fits them. No gunsmith is needed for installation or adjustment, and the trigger features a built-in safety that will not move when the safety is engaged. The trigger is also compatible with left-handed shooters and is ready-to-shoot straight from the box.

A great Trigger(23/03/2015)
I use mine in my target rifles.
Not only does the trigger actually "feel" great my group sizes shrunk drastically from that of the ones shot with the 510 model triggers.
Every pull of the trigger yields a nice, crisp, break with no gritty feel or varying amounts of pull for release.
If there's anything wrong with this trigger I certainly don't know of it. Just wish it was available back when I replaced the factory triggers with 510's :)
Get It!(20/04/2015)
Quite simply the best option for a high end, consistent competition trigger. Beware, the pull is so low you will have to get used to it. Some minor fitting may be required so this trigger will clear your floor plate. This trigger is wider than the factory trigger. Dremel Time!
Perfict fit and easy install (30/05/2016)
I replaced a timney with there elite model.
This was so easy to install. The trigger comes set at 8oz. I'm not going to change that. The triggerror blade is smooth as silk and feels great. Lite and crisp trigger. Easy instalation.
Highly recommend this trigger. Also look for Brownell on line coupon I got 20 dollars off marked price
Instructions Need to be Edited(27/05/2014)
Great trigger and good as advertised. The install is easy but would have been a lot easier if one aspect of the instructions wound be modified. The part concerning the reinstall of the front trigger pin says their is a keeper pin in the front pin housing that should not be removed until the front pin is reinstalled which will then drive out the keeper pin. This will not happen because the bolt release mechanism blocks the keeper pin from being punched through. You have to remove the keeper pin before the reinstall of the front pin. This pin holds in place the sear (I believe). The sear will probably fall out but not a problem. Reinsert the sear with the holes aligned and drive the front pin in as indicated in the instructions. Make sure the curve part of the sear is facing down into the mechanism. You have to use one finger of one hand to keep the holes aligned while you drive the pin with the other hand. You can also place some cellophane tape over the sear to help hold it in place while you align the holes. Take it off after the front pin is installed. It is a very nice trigger.
Save your money-buy a Jewell(06/07/2014)
I have used Jewell triggers for years and when they were out of stock I decided to try a Timney Calvin Elite. It will not hold a consistent let off and changes pull weight by several ounces on each bolt cycle.Creep is far more than I like and it is not smooth.I have used standard Timney triggers and I do not think the Calvin is as good as their regular trigger.Overall I am being kind to give this product a 3 rating!
Remington 700 Calvin Elite Trigger(19/08/2014)
I wanted to replace the X-Mark Pro trigger that came in my Remington 700 SPS Tactical in .308 Winchester. The only trigger that was available that I considered at the time was the Timney Calvin Elite (the regular one wasn't available) so I decided to give it a try. It wasn't as simple an install as I would have liked. The pull was very nice at 9 oz. I shoot paper targets from a bench rest so I felt comfortable with the trigger pull at that level. My only issues other than the front pin installation is the bolt relief lever seems to bind a bit. I think it will get work better as I shoot the gun more and the release wears in some.
Good trigger @ 8 oz. BUT(15/11/2014)
I bought 2 of these triggers. At 8 oz's good trigger, no creep. But if you are going to put this trigger on a hunting rifle, Look elsewhere. Set at 2#'s both triggers have noticeable creep. Adjusted sear engagement per Timney. Still creep. Sent them back to Timney with a note to set to 2#'s. Timney replaced triggers, and same thing they had creep. At hunting weights the cheaper Timney is the way to go. I have 2 of those on hunting rifles and they have a better trigger pull than the Calvin Elite at hunting weights.
Rem trigger safety recall 6+ month wait(07/05/2015)
Did not want to wait months for Remington to fix the recalled triggers. I bought the best bang for the buck triggers I could.
One rifle is a 26" barreled bench-rest varmint rifle in .204. The Calvin Elite is set at a crisp 15 oz pull. In a Bell and Carlson Medalist 2, it's a sweet set-up.
The other rifle is a Remington SPS Tactical 16.5" .308. I had the 'smith install it with the pull set just under the Calvin 2.5 lb maximum. It's breaks cleanly at 2 lb 13 oz. It is the perfect trigger for night hunting with FLIR scope on a suppressed rifle at 100 yard distances.
Great trigger(24/09/2015)
I got this trigger for a new build . .308 F/TR rifle. I installed this trigger and could not believe what I had ,outstanding. I found No trouble adjusting this trigger to the needs of this rifle. There is around 350 rounds thru this rifle now , the trigger is still 100% wonderful.
