Heavy Duty, Quality Tool(26/09/2009)
This tool is very heavy duty, and fits the barrel nut tightly making even the toughest barrel nuts break loose without too much effort. No need for a breaker bar for leverage, although the 1/2" drive hole is there. Good to go right out of the box. A must-have for rebarreling on AR-10's.
Very Good Quality Wrench(04/11/2009)
I was a little skeptical, because it is a little expensive. But, this very heavy duty wrench made working on my AR very easy and was worth the price.
Not for DPMS .308 free float tubes(23/01/2012)
Excellant wrench overall but will not fit DPMS free float tube.
NOT for DPMS/LR308 Rifles!(21/09/2012)
You'd think a ".308 Armor's Wrench" for "AR-Style 308 Style Rifles" would work for a DPMS Rifle with a Free float tube.... No Dice. The Peg spacing doesn't fit the DPMS barrel nut, and the muzzle device area is too wide to fit a 5/8x28 DPMS flash hider due to the crush washer. That makes this purchase a total waste of time and money for me, and you too if you have a DPMS pattern rifle.
Not for a DPMS LR-308(07/01/2015)
One peg for the barrel nut broke during shipping. It doesn't fit my DPMS LR-308 but it works on a AR-10 Barrel Nut.
Performs as Designed(15/11/2016)
I have been using this wrench for just over a year. It has served me well during several AR-10 builds and numerous repairs and rebarreling projects. Unlike previous reviewers I have only found one rifle this wrench did not readily fit and that was an Stag Arms AR -10 and that was due to proprietary hole spacing on the barrel nut and with a slight modification of removing the middlle pin it worked fine. I also have the matching AR-15 wrench which works just as well. They are a heavy duty wrench that should last as long as there are guns to use them on.
Too thick(14/10/2017)
Very good quality but it is too thick to fit most muzzle devices using a crash washer. I had to grind mine down thinner to fit.
