The AREA 419 ZERO PRESS LOCKING DIE RINGS offer a superior solution for your reloading needs. Each multi-pack includes multiple rings and a die wrench, all finished in black nitride for durability and performance.

Multi-Pack Options:

  • 7/8″ Multi-Pack: Includes (4) rings, all 7/8×14, and a wrench.
  • 7/8″ Turret-Pack: Includes (9) rings, all 7/8×14, and a wrench.
  • 1-1/4″ Multi-Pack: Includes (4) rings, all 1-1/4×12, and a wrench.
  • Hybrid Multi-Pack: Includes (2) 7/8×14 rings, (2) 1-1/4×12 rings, and a wrench.

During the development of the ZERO, we identified inconsistencies in traditional lock rings, which are often secured by set screws or split/clamp styles. These designs can lead to unreliable performance when frequently removing and replacing dies in single-stage presses. To address this, we engineered our own locking die rings with the following features:

  • LARGE DIAMETER: More surface contact with the turret head ensures proper alignment with the press, promoting straight die positioning.
  • MORE THREAD ENGAGEMENT: Our rings provide .350″ of thread engagement, which is 15-25% more than typical die lock rings, enhancing stability and squaring ability.
  • INTERNAL WRENCH ENGAGEMENT: Designed for ease of use, our rings feature internal wrench engagement, eliminating the hassle of maneuvering tools between dies.
  • PRECISION STAINLESS STEEL MANUFACTURING: Each ring is machined in a single operation, ensuring square surfaces for accurate die alignment. Made from 17-4PH stainless steel, they are available in raw stainless or with a black nitride finish.

The total thickness of the rings is .500″, with an outside diameter of 1.685″, making them a robust choice for any reloading setup.
