Definitely recommended

Extremely useful slide holding fixture 22/12/2014

I've actually had one of these for about 20 years and got it

from Brownells. This is a rugged tool, that has held many

hundreds of slides during machine operations in my shop.

It is used for milling for sights, slide porting and relieving,

and for flat topping and ribbing the slide. I also use it when

milling in forward serrations into the slides.

I have added an extra hole for a lock screw to hold the short

slides that are not accommodated by the stock fixture.

This is an A-Plus fixture that has survived decades in a busy shop.
