Slightly recommend

Brownells USA Disappointed 22/04/2018

I have been very happy using the two-pellet adapter and VFG pellets to clean my 30 caliber guns, so I decided to purchase an adapter and pellets for my AR and 22lr. Unfortunately I ordered the three pellet adapter this time. I see no cleaning advantage and it is much more difficult to install the pellets on the adapter which has no pilot section.



I suggest trying the VFG cleaning system but purchase the VFG designed two-pellet adapter (084-000-002WB) instead.

Brownells USA Great for .22 and AR-15 cleaning! 25/11/2015

This is EXACTLY the fitting you need if your cleaning rod has #8-32 TPI female end on it. Works great to clean .22 and AR-15 .223/5.56 barrels with .22 diameter cleaning pellets. Will ONLY hold up to two pellets securely on threaded end, not three. However that is still enough to do a really good job of cleaning with J-B bore cleaner and Kroil or other cleaning liquid/sprays. Watch Brownells VIDEO to see their method. When I am done cleaning, I invert barrel, spray inside with CLP type spray and run cleaning pellets down barrel to remove residue, then unscrew adapter with pellets on it while protruding from muzzle. This leaves film and gun is ready for storage or shooting.
