All of my brass has been once fired through my rifle only, so I primarily use the neck sizing die only and full length size only if the brass gets to tight to chamber. First reloads with these dies produced accurate and repeatable results, and all groups were between 1-2". After testing with different charge weights, powder, and seating depth groups dropped down to a consistent sub-moa groups. avg around 3/4.
Lee Prcision 4-Die set advantages 09/03/2017
Most of the Lee sets do not always include the Factory Crimp die. This is why I opted for the 4 die set. The included shell holder is not something you get with RCBS and other Die sets. Since I use a Universal De-priming die for almost every case, the pin in the full length re-sizing die is the first thing to go. I still need to use a Small base resizing die set for brass fired in other rifles. I reload for both an M1A and a DPMS Recon G2. For 7.62x51 and .308 this set is all you need for new brass . Once fired brass might need both the Lee set and an additional SB resizing die to cover all of your needs. I have Lee die sets for many rifle and pistol calibers... as well as Hornady and RCBS and others. Reliable and accurate for my needs.
