Unbelievable time saver. Hammer and sear are right out in the open.

No-brainer must-have item 23/10/2011
If you want to save time while ensuring proper fitting of your sear and hammer on your 1911, these two pieces are a must. You don't have to install everything back in the gun before you can "feel" the sear-hammer interface. You can be sure that your trigger break will be smooth with these two pins while the sear and hammer are outside the gun.
You won't regret this purchase.
