The patent pending EZ castle nut is constructed from premium 4140 PH alloy steel and features a long-lasting, diamond hard black nitride finish. Precision machined on a modern Swiss CNC lathe, it meets or exceeds mil-spec TDP tolerances, ensuring true class 3 threads.

With eight co-linear wrench & staking notches, the EZ castle nut allows for easier visual alignment and provides multiple staking locations, accommodating even the largest end plates. The bi-directional staking guide, made from premium glass-filled nylon, enhances durability with its small, symmetrical design that indexes around most QD end plate designs.

The included staking punch features a straight-wall design, preventing it from tilting inside the staking guide. Made from 17-4 stainless steel and finished in a diamond hard black nitride, its 4mm shank is standard for most off-the-shelf spring-loaded center punches.
